First gig was b2b with CCL at Sustain – Release which was xtra fun. Then dotted about a bit with gigs in NY, Portland and Burlington in Vermont. Had such a good time meeting new people and playing to some amazing crowds. Excited to be back over the pond early next year 🙂\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I recorded this mix at home in my studio on a hot evening after work. Windows wide open, so my neighbours got to hear the whole thing live whether they wanted to or not. I didn’t plan the mix too heavily beforehand, just had a bunch of tunes I’d been digging and let it develop from there.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I wanted to keep it rooted in UK bass and dubstep, while exploring different energies and moods throughout. It generally sits around 140 BPM, but moves between the darker, lighter and weirder sides of sound system music. There are some quite stripped-back bits, some more playful moments, some in your face heavy sections.
